Quranic treasures Surat Anbiaa verset 28-29

The passage given is a verse from the Koran (Sura al-Anbiya, 21:28) that describes the knowledge of Allah, the power and consequences of polytheism.

Allah is described as having complete knowledge of all that has happened in the past and all that is going to happen in the future. No one may intercede or mediate between Allah and anyone but those of whom Allah is satisfied. This underlines the sovereignty of Allah and the importance of looking for His favour.

It also states that those who claim to be a god in addition to Allah will be punished in Hell. This makes reference to polytheism, which is regarded as a major sin in Islam. The term "Zalimun" in this context refers to those who offend by associating partners with Allah.

In general, the verse stresses the importance of recognizing the unique and supreme status of Allah and the consequences of his rejection.

Quranic treasures Surat Anbiaa verset 28-29.

Surat Anbiaa verset 28-

He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they cannot intercede except for him with whom He is pleased. And they stand in awe for fear of Him.

Surat Anbiaa verset 29-

And if any of them should say: "Verily, I am an ilah (a god) besides Him (Allah)," such a one We should recompense with Hell. Thus We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).
