Surat Anbiaa verset 5-6 - Explanation of the surah verse by verse

This passage appears to be a translation of a verse from the Quran, specifically from Surah Al-An'am (5-6).

The verse is discussing the reactions of certain people to the revelations of the Quran, which they dismissed as false dreams, inventions, or poetry.

These people challenge the Prophet Muhammad to produce a sign like those given to previous prophets as proof of his message.

This passage appears to be a translation of a verse from the Quran, specifically from Surah Al-An'am (6:25-27). The verse is discussing the reactions of certain people to the revelations of the Quran, which they dismissed as false dreams, inventions, or poetry. These people challenge the Prophet Muhammad to produce a sign like those given to previous prophets as proof of his message.

The passage goes on to suggest that even if such signs were provided, the people would still not believe, since previous populations who had received signs from God had also refused to believe. This may be seen as a warning against rejecting the message of the Quran, as it is believed to be a continuation and completion of the messages delivered by previous prophets.

Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs), will they then believe?
