Surat Anbiaa verset 5-6 - Explanation of the surah verse by verse

 This passage appears to be a translation of a verse from the Quran, specifically from Surah Al-An'am (5-6). 

The verse is discussing the reactions of certain people to the revelations of the Quran, which they dismissed as false dreams, inventions, or poetry. 

These people challenge the Prophet Muhammad to produce a sign like those given to previous prophets as proof of his message.

Surat Anbiaa verset 5.

﴿ بَلْ قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ﴾

- Al-Anbiyā  

Nay, they say:"These (revelations of the Quran which are inspired to Muhammad SAW) are mixed up false dreams! Nay, he has invented it! Nay, he is a poet! Let him then bring us an Ayah (sign as a proof) like the ones (Prophets) that were sent before (with signs)!"

10. Rejected - Rejected or rejected an offer or proposal.

Surat Anbiaa verset 6.

﴿ مَا آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا ۖ أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴾

سورة : الأنبياء 

- Al-Anbiyā

Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs), will they then believe?
